Having to pull over or dangerously fumbling with your iPhone should, at this point in technology, be completely a thing of the past.

Overall, the service is considerably pricier than others on the market at around $70 a year, but the app is free. This sounds like an inane feature, but one that other navigation apps have failed to consider in the past.

Another great feature that AT&T Navigator has had that is now being mimicked in most other navigation apps is local data storage. The app takes your current route and saves map and location information on your iPhone so that it can be used even when you drop signal. In the past it was very frustrating to have a navigation app that simply stopped working when hitting a dead zone.
